Went to a Viking Fair today with my sister, and on our way home we snapped a few shots... Some of these photos I actually like :)
Here is something I don't think I've shared before.... read on....
Since March I have lost alot of weight, and I am still shedding them off by the week! Yay me!!!
I am finally starting to feel like my self again, comfortable in my own skin. I was always a chubby girl with boobs and thighs and I always will be...
But when the weight started being very unhealthy and dangerous, as well as being a natural stopper to what I wanted to DO... there was time for majour changes.
After years of struggeling to shed them, and nothing working at all. My doctor finally told me I had only one choice left... surgery.
So I had surgery done in March (a sleeve gastronomy), and since then life has been pretty much great. I feel great. I work out, I eat right, I can do exactly what I want to do, and not worry about my body not being able to.
It was a though choice to call, but one I will never regret. It's still a long way to go though, and I have to remind myself everyday to be GOOD to my body!
See... this was me, last September... less than I year ago. Those clothes no longer fit me... :)
My sister and I. Eva donning her viking costume :) I can finally raid her closet!!!

Hei
Du ser strålende ut! Og enda viktigere; du føler deg tydeligvis strålende også :)
Søsteren min hadde tilsvarende operasjon i november og har aldri hatt det bedre. Lykke til videre!
Mvh.

Good work on improving your health; I'm trying to do the same and it's definitely difficult!
You'll have to put yourself on the Better & After page! :)
I am so very happy for you. My husband and I have also been losing weight. We did not have surgery, but he was at the place of thinking about it. We've been doing it together, so that really helps and are down 120 pounds between us. I've lost 54 of it and my knees don't hurt anymore and I'm walking three times a week and eating healthier foods. I'm old enough to probably be your grandmother, but if you don't mind I would love to share your journey. I am your newest follower, please accept my humble invitation to come over and visit. My blog is made up of art, sewing, re-purposing, music, gardening, photography, and paper crafts. I'm just a retired gal enjoying every day the good Lord gives me and considering them a blessing. I'm very proud of you. Connie :)
Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you the best of health!
